Unable to connect

Check that your front-end is trying to connect to the right place:

System Name:
Port Number: 30003

Note that there are three zeros in the port number!

Still unable to connect

Are you using Windows XP with the firewall turned on? If so, the firewall may be stopping your front-end from connecting to Fed. Click here to read how to fix your firewall problem.


If you connect to the Internet using a wireless broadband connection, and you experience frequent disconnects, it might be due to your telephone. Cordless phones that operation at 2.4 GHz interfere with wireless internet signals.
