Art says, "So, tell us about your life in Fed, both Classic, if you were there and here."

Art passes the mic to Stuverats.

Stuverats says, "Well, it started back in the summer of 96 when I was a mere groundhog"

Art smiles, "Ah, an old-timer :)"

Stuverats says, "I spent the next few months hauling and trading through the ranks and getting frustrated by the JP puz"

Art nods.

Afdude remembers that puzzle...

Stuverats says, "But eventually I got through it and became the overlord of Circadia"

Art asks, "What was the theme of your planet?"

Stuverats says, "Not a single inch of flat soil""

Art winks, "Must have made agri difficult ;)"

Stuverats says, "Up and down, up and down, up and down, like a circadian rythym"

Stuverats says, "I'll say. Only made 10 megs a day as a squire"

Art says, "Ick"

Iced snickers.. that all i ever made as a squire a day :(

Stuverats says, "Things weren't all that much better as a Thane (40 megs)"

Stuverats says, "I heard all this stuff about mining being the best. They didn't have my roll apparently"

Art says, "Life can be hard at those ranks."

Stuverats says, "It became a cakewalk from indy on with 80+ megs"

Stuverats says, "As my Fed life was coming to a halt due to College, I had one last hurrah by getting married to my Fed sweetheart, SoSayCin, who is Starlina now"

Art grins.

Art winks, "So that's why she kinda sorta volunteered you ;)"

Stuverats says, "But College and Fed's need to charge money put my time in Fed on an indefinate hiatus"

Art nods.

Stuverats says, "But SoSay and I kept in touch and one day she sent me an email about a Fed 2. And here I am today"

Art asks, "So that was the start of your time in this dataspace?"

Stuverats says, "Yepper"

Art asks, "What do you think was the biggest difference?"

Stuverats says, "The biggest one would have to be that when I started Classic Fed, there were player-planets already around so I wasn't so confined"

Art nods.

Stuverats says, "And I miss the days of hauling for JPs"

Stuverats says, "Made a few friends that way"

Art says, "That was fun."

Art asks, "Who were your friends back then?"

Stuverats drawls, "Aside from SoSay, I remember Silowetcat, C5crwchief, HOLR, Kinelle, Wicked1025..."

Art recognizes a few of those names.

Stuverats says, "WSprano, Crocodyle, and Unicorn777 who I met right when I started"

Art grins.

Art says, "Very good players."

Stuverats says, "And I still remember LrdVengance cause he kept kicking my butt in arena fights"

Art winks, "Ouch ;)"

Art asks, "Which events did you fight in?"

Stuverats says, "Usually 1-on-1 single elimination tourneys. I tried the 2-on-2 team fight but stopped after my partner kept killing me"

Art says, "Ew, that's no good."

Dunavant grins

Art drawls, "Ok, now for the really fun part..."

Art says, "If anyone has a question for Stuverats, just raise your hand and I'll call on you."

Dunavant raises hand

Art asks, "Dun?"

Dunavant asks, "What duchy or duchies was your planet in back in classic fed?"

Stuverats says, "My first duchy was Atlantis. I was there during my time as Squire, Thane, and part of Indy. I moved to Harem when SoSay became Duchess"

Dunavant nods

Stuverats says, "I was there the rest of the time"

Art nods.

Bamababe raises her hand.

Art asks, "Bama?"

Bamababe asks, "what do you think is the best improvement made to Fed2 versus classic?"

Stuverats says, "Based on what I've seen so far, I would have to say the way of working through the merchant rank compared to Classic Fed's trader"

Art nods.

Stuverats says, "Merchant here is based on profit rather than just make the most money in the shortest time possible which was a pain as a trader"

Stuverats says, "Especially when your buying 15 tons a pop"

Art chuckles.

Bamababe smiles.

Art asks, "Who wants to be next?"

Bamababe raises her hand again.

Art asks, "Bama?"

Bamababe winks, "Do you and Starlina plan to rekindle that old flame?;)"

Dunavant smiles

Stuverats says, "Maaaaaaayyyyyyyyybbbbbbeeeeeeee"

Bamababe laughs.

Stuverats says, "If a slithy comes my way"

Art drawls, "Ooo, an obstacle to true love..."

Stuverats says, "Not really. I don't need some piece of metal around my finger to show my love for her"

Art asks, "And in that vein, what is your most embarrassing moment?"

Stuverats asks, "Now, are we talking about just in Fed or in RL too?"

Art says, "Dataspace... unless you want to share both."

Stuverats says, "Well, one moment that sticks out didn't seem so bad at the time, but not so much in retrospect"

Art exclaims, "Tell!"

Stuverats says, "I used to call myself the King of Karaoke and expressed myself over the channels"

Art says, "Uh ohhh"

Bamababe giggles.

Stuverats says, "I would just get lyrics of songs and type them up line for line"

Art chuckles.

Stuverats says, "Now no one said anything bad about it and I think it was the catalyst for the karaoke contest at the Cantina that soon followed"

Art nods.

Stuverats says, "But looking back, I feel like an idiot for doing it"

Stuverats says, "Especially since I still got some lyrics wrong"

Art says, "That would depend on the song."

Dunavant chuckles

Art asks, "I have another one. What has been your biggest challenge since returning?"

Stuverats says, "Doing all 650 ak jobs without losing my sanity"

Art laughs!

Art asks, "Took a while?"

Stuverats says, "Time-wise, not incredibly long. Fatigue-wise, an eternity"

Art is very glad to be past that rank.

Art asks, "Anything you want to see in the future or that you would change?"

Stuverats says, "A lower AK goal and new planets"

Art nods.

Art asks, "Any other questions? Anyone?"

Bamababe says, "I'm good, all questioned out, I think"

Art looks around...

Art says, "In that case, I have one more question."

Art asks, "About your picture. Are those feet for real?"
