FED2TERM MANUAL - PLAYING FED2 WITH FED2TERM
MOVEMENT USING THE KEYPAD
Fed2Term includes an option to let you issue movement commands by pressing the 8 keypad keys, which will correspond to the eight compass directions, as follows:
Home NW |
Up arrow N |
PgUp NE |
Left arrow W |
Right arrow E |
|
End SW |
Down arrow S |
PgDn SE |
This only works if you have the NumLock turned off.
You turn this option on by selecting the 'Options' menu and clicking on 'Keypad Travel' or clicking the button in the toolbar. Click the menu item or button again to turn it off.
Keypad travel will only work if the input window (where you type your commands) has the focus, and is showing a flashing cursor. Click your mouse on the input window to make sure it has the focus.
Note that if you enable keypad travel you will not be able to use the cursor keys to move around any text you have typed in the input buffer; you will have to use the mouse instead.
