FED2TERM MANUAL - TROUBLE-SHOOTING

INPUT PROBLEMS

Fast typists may run foul of a problem with the input routines. If you type a command, hit return to send it off, then start typing a new command before Fed2Term has had time to process and send the first command, then the first character of the second command you are typing may get sent on the end of the first command.

This is not a function of the speed of your computer; it is a function of the way Windows works, together with the way the programming tools used to write Fed2Term work. At the moment we are unable to come up with a way to fix this problem.

It does only affect very fast typists; if you find it happening to you, then pause for a moment in between sending one command and starting to type the next command.
