ON THE WEB: PICTURE OF RHEA'S SURFACE We know what Rhea looks like in Fed DataSpace - it's covered in huge domes that house farms and the laboratories where scientists genetically tamper with foodstuffs. But what does the surface of Saturn's moon look like in real life? In late November, the robot Cassini spacecraft was told to go and find out. It did a fly-by of Rhea and snapped some pictures, including one taken only about 400 miles above Rhea's icy surface. Take a look at the picture on NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day site. |
