![]() TAKE A LOOK AT THAT PRODUCTION Recently planet owners were given the ability to expropriate unwanted factories. As well as removing them from the face of the planet, confiscating a company's property has the added advantage that the production capability of the factory is absorbed into the planet's native production - 1 point is added to production of whatever commodity the factory was producing before you seized it from the company. Now there is a command that lets you actually look at the production and consumption figures for your planet: 'DI PRODUCTION commoditygroup', where 'commoditygroup' is agri, resource, ind, tech, biological or leisure. This gives you a display something like this:
Each exchange cycle, the population of your planet will produce and consume the specified amount. These values are set when your exchange is configured, but they will change as you do such things as confiscate factories. (The length of an exchange cycle will vary depending on a number of factors, including whether you are logged on or not.) The number in brackets is the production minus the consumption. If it's a negative number it means the planet consumes more than it produces of that particular commodity, which means you will end up with a deficit unless you make arrangements to get the commodity shipped in. |
