 REAL LIFE NEWS: HOW TO DEAL WITH BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE So you've got a problem with your local electricity company - the power has gone off for no good reason, and when you phone up to complain you don't get a satisfactory explanation. So what do you do? Well, if you are a government minister in Armenia, you resort to violence! The culture minister, Ovik Oveyan gathered up his son and a couple of friends, went storming down to the main offices of the country's electricity company, and pistol whipped two workers. Ouch! They both required hospital treatment. The good news is - he got his power back half an hour later. The bad news is: the Armenian president was not impressed by this behavior, and sacked him. Mind you, there are times when I have been tempted to commit violent acts towards some of the call center morons I have had to deal with... |
