The DooRon Corporation, which has been embroiled in financial scandals for the past few months, today issued an all-purpose denial in an attempt to head off further accusations of wrong-doing. A spokesthing read out a statement as follows:

"Quite simply, we deny everything. This denial covers anything we have been accused of in the past, and any story you might hear in the future. Should there be any speculation about unlawful actions on the part of the corporation or its directors, you should consider it to be already answered by this denial."

When pressed by the press for specific examples of wrongful acts that were covered by this official denial, the spokesthing refused to be drawn, and simply repeated the statement it had already read.
