![]() CRYPTOGRAMS Saturday April 15 by Catspaws Easter is in the air, and that means wabbit hunting and lots of fun for young and old. I started the afternoon chasing EasterRabbit around Sol. Boy, that is one grumpy rabbit! Once I wore out the bunny, I moved to the Cafe on Selena for my second favorite sport, Cryptograms. In honor of the holiday, this week's puzzles revolved around Easter traditions (and I tried to include several obscure traditions.) Gilar finished this puzzle first, followed by Fancy and Robius.
The second puzzle dealt with more Easter traditions, and in view of the fact that many Cryptogram players are of British decent, I tried to include something for them. Oddly, they never heard of the one which is purportedly to be one of theirs. Gilar, Fancy, Salvador, Zadymka finished this puzzle.
The third puzzle was one of my favorites, and Asterix solved this one too! I'm so proud of him. Fancy, of course, solved it first, but Asterix beat Gilar.
Many of the holidays feature special meals, and Easter is no exception. Gilar, Fancy and Robius solved this list of Easter foods.
For our final list, I dug into my Easter basket and pulled out all kinds of candies. Gilar, Fancy and Robius finished this tasty puzzle, just beating out Zadymka who had five of them.
When the points were totalled, Robius finished third. In second, Fancy! (hehe) and our Easter winner and the proud owner of a special edition Catspaws reproducing slithy (they really do reproduce, just pet them!) is Gilar! Join me next Saturday at 4.00pm eastern for the next exciting game of Cryptograms, the game that exercises your brain. |
