FED2 WEDDING BELLS
by Jessecka
On September 14, in a small ceremony on Dilconia, Lord Furgas and Lady Dannae were married. Close friends were gathered to watch the simple vows exchanged, and The Star has an exclusive on the details.
Jessecka says, "I would like to welcome everyone tonight to Dilconia, to witness the joining of Lord Furgas and lady Dannae. It is not often that we are able to witness such a wonderful ceremony, the taking of a vampire mate, and to be allowed to witness this ceremony tonight is truely a blessing for each of us."
Dannae glides into the room to the altar where Furgas stands. Love shines in her eyes as she reaches out to take his hands in hers.
Jessecka says, "Let us bow our heads as we ask the Great Blood God to bless this union."
Jessecka bows her head, and lifts her arms.
Jessecka speaks softly, "Great Blood God, we humbly ask you tonight to be present during this Joining, to bless Lord Furgas and lady Dannae as they start their journey into forever together. Guide them through desperate times, stand with them through adversity, lead them in the path You have chosen."
Jessecka raises her head and reaches out to pick up a wicked looking dagger and lifts it high for all to see.
Jessecka says, "The Dagger is used to tie the union in blood. May the Blood God bless it."
Jessecka lays the dagger down. She then lifts up the golden goblet in the air, and proclaims, "The Goblet is where those that were once seperate will be joined together as one forever. May the Blood God bless it."
Furgas says, "may the blood god bless it"
Jessecka sets the goblet down.
Dannae says, "may the blood god bless it"
Jessecka looks at Dannae and speaks softly, "Do you realize, Dannae, that this Bond....Marriage....is forever?"
Dannae nods "Yes"
Jessecka smiles.
Jessecka asks, "At this time, both Lord Furgas and lady Dannae address each other. Lady Dannae, do you have anything you wish to say?"
Dannae says, "My lord, there are no words to express the depth of my devotion to you. To you, I give my love, my devotion, and my promise to be not only your eternal lover, but also your friend. I will stand by you, through hard times and the good no matter who or what may come our way."
Jessecka asks, "And Lord Furgas, do you wish to speak?"
Furgas says, "aye i do"
Furgas says, "my lady you were the bright light in my dark world a light i have now turned to darkness, as your mate and lover i shall protect you for the rest of my days and never let anyone harm you ever"
Jessecka says, "And finally now, the Joining."
Dannae smiles, tears shining bright in her eyes.

Jessecka lifts the Goblet to Furgas.
