WACKY WORDS (Sunday Edition)

It's coldddddddddd out there, so it was only appropriate that we did a game involving winter sports. I had them stumped on the theme for a while, especially Fancy, which did my heart good (I love stumping Fancy), but Nut finally figured it out.
Nut took an early lead with his "Squeeky knew all the inventions near Graveyard," then secured his lead with "furgus is sending holos inside new gold" at the same time as he guessed the theme, leaving us all in awe of his greatness. (I much preferred Yuko's, "Fancy is simply handsome in night gowns," but oddly enough, they won't let me vote. Pout! Of course, I can't get the vision of Fancy in pretty pink frilly nighties out of my mind....)
I must say my absolute favorite phrase of the event was Yuko's, "The old bitty ogled gangly grandpa and now's interviewing naked giggilos," despite the spelling errors. I love the way her mind works.
Although Yuko came within a point of the lead, Nut managed to keep the lead, and had no problem at all beating Fancy. (How many people can say that?)
