CRYPTOGRAMS

With Catspaws away, allegedly to have her nails clipped, Gwaptiva was drafted in to host this week's Cryptograms. To celebrate the opening of the link to Pelf space, the Drunken Deer Pub on Aliment was where Zaydmka, Otter, Captainfuzzy and Supermayman gathered, with Fancy joining us on the Cryptograms channel.
After a quick rundown of the rules, the first puzzle was supposed to be a nice warm-up one, but it stumped Fancy for long enough for Zadymka to finish it first, just before the brainy cat. When time ran out, Captainfuzzy had found five and Otter four.

Normal service was resumed when Fancy solved the second puzzle first. The rest had a little more trouble adhering to the rule that made them give the answers to this particular puzzle in the correct order. In the end, Captainfuzzy finished in second, Otter was third, with Zadymka and Supermayman solving three each.

The third puzzle was solved first by Captainfuzzy, beating out Fancy and Zadymka. Otter and Supermayman, the latter on his debut, also found all the answers to this one.

Fancy finished the fourth puzzle first, followed by Captainfuzzy and Zadymka and Otter, with Supermayman finding three of the answers.

As always, the final puzzle was in the category "Learn how the kitty thinks", and it proved a real toughie this week. Of course, Fancy being a kitty may have had the edge here, and he finished first, followed by Otter. The fuzzy captain found four solutions and Zadymka had three.

When the scores were all tallied up, Fancy was the runaway winner this week, with Captainfuzzy second, followed by Otter, Zadymka and Supermayman. Captainfuzzy showed his talent for this game, but does need to work a little more on his consistency to give Fancy a real run for his money, but with Cryptograms being played every Saturday at 4.00pm eastern, he will have many more chances to practice.
