CRYPTOGRAMS

The invasion has begun! This week Cryptograms invaded Mousetrap, looking for a certain illusive mouse who failed to appear. I guess we now know if he's a man or a mouse... The Fed Events Team is not responsible for any damages done while we were visiting Mousetrap.
Mousetrap ends in the Letter "P", so we started off the game with player names containing the letter "P". Gwaptiva and Zadymka finished the puzzle, with Caesar and Supermayman falling just short.
Player Names Containing the Letter "P":
SYBN
ZBSKDVYUVYW
ESHDMP
STWK
EYHZSYRZ
ZSNTWKVYW
Continuing on the theme of "P is for Pest is for Squeeky," Zadymka, Gwaptiva and Supermayman figured out this list of commands.
Commands Containing the Letter "P" (http://www.ibgames.net/fed2/commands/index.html):
MQQUNO
RGLN
DNBKDBX WUJ
JXBN
NHQYGN
EXBNU
Gwaptiva led the pack in solving the list of commodities, holding back the other contestants with ease.
Commodity Names Containing the Letter "P" (http://www.ibgames.net/fed2/guide/trading/commod.html):
TRPTWUST
GASPKCWSRT
BRWSKPT
SGWEUWNRJCLNWOT
UKPKSKORT
TSLNRT
System Name puzzles are usually harder because of the length of the DI SYSTEMS readout, yet all four players solved this puzzle with relative ease.
System Names Containing the Letter "P" (DI SYSTEMS):
TIFVQT
IKMX
ELIID
EFIK
OKZIFVQ
IEFVAK
Our final puzzle fit into the "Think Like the Cat" category, as a result of the current vote of Cat Vs. Mouse. Gwaptiva and Zadymka showed they can think like a cat quite well.
Reasons Cats Are Better than Mice:
ARGV QDG PIAGD
ARGV QDG HOQDAGD
ARGV HOGSS WGAAGD
ARGV OQYG PIAG KFTHGH URGK VFI NGA ARGO
ARGV HGDMG Q NIDNFHG--PQAPRTKB OTPG

When the scores were tallied, Gwaptiva easily claimed the first place prize, with Zadymka holding second place by a large lead over Supermayman.
We play Cryptograms each Saturday at 4.00pm eastern. Join us next week to see who we will invade next...
