WACKY WORDS

I filled in for Squeeky tonight in hosting Wacky Words, and three players came out to play. Stiddleficks, Jinto, and Dennotairn all showed up. I explained how to play the game for Dennotairn, and anyone else who needed a refresher on the rules. That done, we got the game started with...
Word #1 - QUADS
Stiddleficks won the vote bonus with, "Quit underestimating androids during swimming." Jinto got a vote and the speed bonus with, "questions usually address dangerous situations".
Word #2 - FLUSH
We had a three-way tie for votes this round, with Dennotairn picking up the speed bonus for fastest phrase.
Word #3 - ROYAL
Jinto correctly identified the theme of Poker terms with this word to pick up the theme point. Meanwhile Stiddleficks won the vote bonus and speed bonus with, "Royalsims only yawns after lunch." Dennotairn got her vote for the other point.
Word #4 - STRAIGHT
I gave the players three minutes instead of two for this word. Stiddleficks still got her phrase in within the first minute with, "Start turning right after I get here tonight." That picked up a vote, along with the speed bonus. Jinto and Dennotairn also picked up a vote each with "strong Tquarks really add imperial groats, hot trade" and "Sizeable techie research analysis into government handling techniques."
Word #5 - TRIPS
The scores weren't three of a kind this time, as Jinto won the vote bonus with, "true radicals import precious spices". Dennotairn also got a vote for "Trade routinely involves purchasing schemes."
Word #6 - JOKER
Stiddleficks held a 3-point lead going into the final word, and when her phrase "Jake only kicks every relative" was the quickest and won the vote bonus, she secured first place in tonight's game. Dennotairn also got a vote with, "jeopardizing only kerosene erased rosters."
Our final scores tonight were: Stiddleficks 15, Jinto 8, Dennotairn 6. Congratulations to Stiddleficks on winning tonight's edition of Wacky Words!
