NEW CHARACTER AND PLANET PICTURES

There's a bunch of new pictures you can download and add to your various FedTerm folders so you can see what Fed folk and their planets look like.

First up, there's three new images in the gallery for character pictures:

• September is a female reporter - that's right, she's one of my newsdroids. Isn't she cute?
• Silverhawk is a male bandanian, whatever one of those is, although he sure looks like a bird of prey to me.
• Stormbringer is a male human who really does look like he could bring down a whole storm of trouble with those big guns he is toting.

Download the pictures by right-clicking on them and selecting Save As... and put them into the pictures sub-folder of your FedTerm folder.

In the planet picture gallery there are also three new pictures, showing a couple of the second planets that have just appeared and one world in a brand new system:

• Cloudbase, in the Cloud system, shows a space station of some kind
• Dross, in the Rubble system, shows the landing pad of the planet with a very unpleasant sun in the sky
• Zion, in the Chicago system, is photographed from orbit

Grab these pictures and put them into the Fedterm\planets folder.

If you want to let other people see what you, or your planet, looks like, you should make a picture to show us and mail it to feedback@ibgames.com. Character pictures are 80 pixels wide by 96 high; planet pictures are 172 pixels square. Both should be in .bmp format. Character pictures should be named after your character, ie pugwash.bmp or newbod.bmp. Planet pictures should have a filename to match the planet name, ie marina.bmp or rigel 4.bmp.
