WACKY WORDS
Saturday October 20

Six players joined me for an exciting game of Wacky Words this week. Right at the start, Butters guessed the theme of the night, which was cartoon cats - closely followed by Stiddleficks.
For the first word, BILL (that's Bill the cat from Bloom County) Butters probably had the ickiest sentence of thenight with "Butters is lusciously lickable". Ewww!
The second word of the night was FANCY - no, not our Fed Fancy,k but his namesake Fancy from Top Cat. Stiddlefick's phrase was a good one; she came up with "Founders are never considered young". Butters also produced another good one: "Foolish Arlene, never could yodel". I wonder if that could be true.
The third word of the night was ARLENE from Garfield in which Deklax came up with "All real Livestock exists near Earth".
For the fourth round, the word was MORRIS from the TV commercial. Ok, I know he wasn't a cartoon cat, but he still talked. Fancy's phrase was popular: "Myda ogled Rhys, relishing intimate sensations."
MEOWTH from Pokemon gave us the fifth word of the night, and Zardoz came up with a good sentence with "merchants enjoy overfilling wares then hauling."
In the final and last round of the night, the word was GARFIELD. Stiddleficks' phrase was one I really liked - "Galactic administration regulates fairly in every legal department."
After I added up the final scores tying for third place were Deklax and Stiddleficks with 7 points each. In second with 10 points was Zardoz. And coming in first was Butters with 12 points. Well done Butters, and thanks to everybody who played. Join me in two weeks for another round of Wacky Words, or next week for Fed Word Scramble. That's Saturday nights at 10.00pm eastern.
