WACKY WORDS - Sunday edition

The return of Wacky Words arrived with a whimper instead of a bang, with only three players showing up to celebrate the kitty's return. Shame on all of you who didn't come to play with us!
Even with the small group, we managed to have an interesting game, with a surprise winner. For the first word, EMAIL, everyone took a point, with Cathy getting another point for fastest response. The second word, LOUIE, had the theme guessers running in circles. Fancy's "Lasers only use intense electricity" earned him two votes, putting him in the lead.
The third word, FLEET, was enough to give Fancy the theme, THINGS YOU CAN DISPLAY IN FED. Cathy was closing in on the theme, but she just wasn't as fast as Fancy. Cathy's, "For long evenings, eat treats" garnered the most votes, although Fancy's "Fancy likes easy, erotic loving" was a bit more information than we needed to know. For INFRA, Nomad's, "Interesting now, Fed's Really awesome" was my favorite, as well as earning the most votes.
When the scores were tallied, Nomad came in third, with Cathy upsetting Fancy's apple cart and taking the game by a single point. Wacky Words is played every other Sunday, although we won't be playing on May 11 because of Mother's Day.
