FEDTERM CHARACTER AND PLANET PICTURES

We have another batch of FedTerm pictures for you this week, both of people and places. First, the following characters now have pictures in the character gallery:

• Excel - a female human. Despite having a name like a spreadsheet (shudder!) she's very attractive.
• Hephaestus - a male god. Well, he calls himself a god, but don't most males think that about themselves? He is big and hairy and he has an enormous... hammer.
• Riley - a male human. At least, that's what SpyNet says. But he looks like a fish to me. Perhaps, like Froggy last week, he fell foul of a witch!
• Zeppelin - a neuter blimp. It's very pretty, too, all rainbow colors. Lovely.

You can download these images by right-clicking and selecting Save As... and putting them in the pictures sub-folder of your FedTerm folder.

In the planet picture gallery, there are the following new images:

• Liberty (The Rift system) - It's a space station, with a great view of the rift in the background.
• Larg (Modoki system) - a red planet in the black sky. No distinguishing features.
• Tokyo and Edo ( Japan system) - Tokyo is all bright lights and colorful high-tech. Edo is grim black and white squalor. I know where I'd rather live!

Download these by right-clicking and selecting Save As... from the menu, then saving them to your computer in the FedTerm\planets folder.

If you want to let other people see what you, or your planet, looks like, you should make a picture to show us and mail it to feedback@ibgames.com (remember to put Fed2 in the subject line). Character pictures are 80 pixels wide by 96 high; planet pictures are 172 pixels square. Both should be in .bmp format. Character pictures should be named after your character, ie pugwash.bmp or newbod.bmp. Planet pictures should have a filename to match the planet name, ie marina.bmp or rigel 4.bmp.
