REAL LIFE IMITATES FED: TELEPORTING FOR REAL

No sooner have we unleashed a new generation of teleporters onto Fed DataSpace, than real life scientists copy us and come up with their own version of teleportation. Scientists from the University of Maryland have successfully transferred information from one charged atom to another without it actually crossing the one meter space in between.
OK, this isn't teleportation as we know it in Fed, and it doesn't look like we're going to be porting between home and work any time soon, but it's still an important breakthrough. You can read the full story here.
