A newly developed carbon-nanotube-based ink has been developed by scientists at Stanford University in California. The ink can soak into fabric creating conductive textiles with very low resistance. It can then be treated with an electrolyte to create fabric that is capable of storing and releasing electrical charges. What's more, repeated washes of the fabric didn't affect it's performance. This could finally be the missing piece in the long-awaited wearable computer - as well as solving the problem of recharging your iPod or phone! |
