NEW EMAIL AND PASSWORD UPDATE COMMANDS

If you want to change your Fed2 password, you can now do it in the game using the 'UPDATE PASSWORD new_password' command. The new password must be between 8 and 15 characters, and can contain letters and numbers - but no punctuation.

If you forget your password you still have to email us and ask for a password reset.

You can also update your registered email address using 'UPDATE EMAIL new_email'. It's important to keep this up to date because if you do forget your password and ask us to reset it, we will only do it if the request comes from the right email address. You can check what your email address is currently set to with 'DISPLAY EMAIL'.

Those of you with long memories will recall that these are not exactly new commands... they were in the game in the early days of Fed2, but they caused problems, so Bella disabled them temporarily. Yeah, we all knows what happens with temporary measures... there is nothing so long-lasting!
