ANOTHER MONTH, ANOTHER CLIMB UP THE VOTING RANKS
by Hazed
It’s July. The year is half over. Summer is in full swing. It’s raining in England - looks like we’re heading for the wettest summer for many years. Joy.
The new month means that the two-month voting cycle on The Mud Connector (TMC) has come to an end, and all the votes have been discarded. The ranking of the most popular games on the net has started from zero votes again.
At the time of writing (Sunday morning), Fed2 is at number 15.
Ideally we want to be in the top ten. Why? Because TMC is the leading site about MUD-style games, and keeping Fed2 in the top ten ensures we have a high profile. That means potential new players will see the name of the game and come to check it out.
Without a steady stream of new players, no game can survive. So to keep Fed2 alive it needs to stay up that ranking, and that means the players have to go and vote for it.
You can cast one vote each day - and it’s important you do it regularly as clockwork, every single day. One more person voting every day adds 30 votes a month, and that makes all the difference.
Vote for Fed by going to the voting site or going to the ibgames front page and clicking the vote button. You can also use the TMC Voting option in FedTerm - you’ll find it in the Extras menu.
Thank you.
