TIME CHANGE ALTERS PERCEIVED RESET TIME

It’s amazing what an extra hour of sleep can do to refresh the body, mind and spirit. I feel great because last night the clocks went back an hour in the UK, heralding the end of summer time. With exquisite timing, the weather has changed and become absolutely freezing - time to dig out the woolly clothes!
For those in the US, where the clocks don’t change for another week, this means the reset will appear to be happening an hour later. The game reset is scheduled using server time, and although Fed2 now lives in the cloud rather than on a physical machine, it still runs on UK time.
So the 1.00pm GMT reset will happen at 9.00am eastern for the next seven days.
Now if only I could find a way to get an extra hour’s sleep every weekend...
