HAPPY CHRISTMAS, DARLINGS
by Hazed
And so we reach the final Fed2 Star of 2012. It’s been a year of turmoil in Fed DataSpace, with the move to the cloud that seemed to be forever just about to happen, followed by the appearance of the horrendous crash bug, the hope that it had been fixed, the realisation that it hadn’t, and the disabling of the new player function to stop the game falling over all the time.
Over the Christmas break, Alan is going to keep his nose to the grindstone, his shoulder to the wheel and his back to the wall, working non-stop until he manages to fix the problem, only stopping for the occasional bite of turkey or nibble on a Brussels sprout.
I have just taken delivery of a new computer so my holiday will be spent setting it up, trying to remember all the tweaks you have to do to stop Windows and Office doing all the “helpful” things it assumes you want, copying everything over from my old computer, forgetting to copy something vital over from my old computer, and so on...
The Star will be back on Sunday January 13.
Meanwhile, here’s a bonus Christmas link for you: the rocket scientist version of The Night Before Christmas.
Have a happy Christmas and a great new year!
