HAPPY NEW YEAR

Hello darlings, we’re back from our Christmas break and ready to bring you another issue of the Fed2 Star. That’s just as soon as I can get the torpid newsdroids moving. I think they all partied a bit too hard and are now suffering from severe oil-induced hangovers. One still has tinsel wrapped around its antenna!
While we were gone, Alan tried again to fix the bug - more on that in a moment. I was busy too: I got a new computer so had the job of installing software and configuring it to do things the way I want them done. This is the first Star produced on the new set-up so let’s hope it all goes smoothly.
I also had fun assembling flat-pack furniture... the results are that my flat is now much more attractive and much more organised, but all this work* didn’t exactly make for a restful holiday!
In between all this, I found the time to carry on with the revamp of the ibgames website to impose the new design. I tackled the manuals section, and the pages for FedTerm as well as the cut-down version, Fed2Term. This included reworking the galleries for character pictures and planet pictures. If your picture is not in the gallery yet, send it to feedback@ibgames.net and I’ll upload it.
There’s still more to do on the web revamp, so the next time I get a bit of spare time, I will continue.
* Yes, I admit I paid a handyman to assemble the large, difficult bits!
