DUMB CRIMINAL OF THE WEEK: ROBBERY WITH GPS TAG

This week I delight in telling you about an exceptionally stupid burglar, who went on a robbing spree in Lakewood Colorado.
What did he do that was so very dumb? Well, police had no trouble catching him, and were able to tie him directly to each and every one of the robberies he committed, because he was wearing a GPS monitoring ankle bracelet!
He was fitted with the ankle tag because he’s been convicted of attempting to steal a navigation GPS. Clearly he wasn’t aware of the nature of the tag, and had no idea that its GPS would place him at the scene of every single robbery.
I’m guessing this time he won’t be sentenced to anything as simple as wearing an ankle bracelet, but will be banged up for a number of years.
