REAL LIFE NEWS: FRENCH POLICE LOSE AIRPORT EXPLOSIVES

French police are in trouble for mislaying the explosives they had hidden during a training exercise in an airport.
The gendarmes hid a 100g block of C-4 plastic explosive in the freight section of Marseille airport, and then set the sniffer dogs to find it. But the cops had hidden the stuff too well and the dogs failed to turn it up – and then the police couldn’t find it either because they’d forgotten exactly where they hid it!
A local official admitted the error to the local press, but claimed there was no danger because the explosive didn’t have a fuse. Oh, that’s alright then.
This is certainly a more embarrassing loss than forgetting where you left your keys!
