Is there life on Mars? We’ve been wondering about that for centuries, and now there are rovers trundling across the surface of the planet we may find proof.
Curiosity’s latest set of pictures seems to indicate that the answer is a great big YES! They show a humanoid shadow looming over the probe, perhaps examining its workings, maybe repairing it. The figure looks like it has short spiky hair, and it isn’t wearing a helmet, although it has some kind of air tank on its back. Must be an alien then, right? This is surely going to fuel all kinds of conspiracy theories, both from those who are convinced NASA has been keeping the truth about Martians secret, and those who think Curiosity was never send to the planet at all and the whole mission is a giant hoax.
