PICTURE OF THE WEEK: MARTIAN DUST DEVIL

The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter snapped this picture of a whirling dust devil moving across the Martian surface back in 2012. The core of the dust devil is about 140 metres across, and the plume reaches about 20 kilometers above the surface.
