ALAN’S REFACTORED CODE TO GO INTO THE GAME THIS WEEK

Last week I told you that Alan was refactoring (ie rewriting) chunks of the game code to make it easier for him to produce a browser-based version of FedTerm.
He has decided to put the code he has done so far into the game this week, when he completes the 1,000th change (he’s currently done 700). This will probably be on Tuesday or Wednesday – he will post a notice on the board to let you know.
You shouldn’t see any difference because these are all background changes that are not intended to affect players. However, if anything does go wrong it will manifest itself for users of FedTerm, who may see stuff showing up on the wrong screen.
