REAL LIFE NEWS: PHILAE FOUND

The Philae lander has been located on the surface of the comet 67P. In a photo taken by the Rosetta spacecraft (see source link below) the landed can be seen in the shadow of a cliff, with one leg sticking upwards.
Rosetta is almost at the end of its life: at the end of the month it will finish its mission by landing on 67P. This will give unique data and images, but will be a hard landing that will bring the mission to an end.
Despite the problems with Philae’s bouncy landing, the mission has yielded a whole lot of data about the comet, so can be counted as a definite success.
