THE CAT TAKEOVER TUBE STATION
by Hazed
As promised last week, I went to the tube station where all the adverts have been replaced by cat pictures. Actually it’s not quite all – there are still some commercial ads – but the ones you see as you walk through the corridors and go up and down the escalators are all now pictures of cats, as is the branding on the ticket gates.
It was the middle of the evening rush hour and the station was crowded so I couldn’t linger, but I managed to get a couple of photos:

I was just delighted by seeing the cat pictures where usually I am exhorted to buy fashion, fast food or what have you. The whole experience made me smile. I don’t know how long the cat pictures will stay up but if you are in London, try to find the time to visit Clapham Common station on the northern line.
