DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN TALK TO THE SOL MOBILES?

There’s a lot of stuff programmed into Fed that isn’t related to your core activities of trading or running your planet. One of those things is the mobiles hanging around in various locations on the Solar System planets, that you can have a conversation with.
Not all of the mobiles are talkative, but some are downright verbose and will converse on a variety of topics.
One of the most garrulous is Diesel. Well, you would expect the owner of the best bar in the galaxy to be quite chatty. She will talk about many things including her bar, Mars and Martians, the ruins, luncheon vouchers, religion, other planets, the piano and her pianist.
On Titan you will find an alien called Weeble. He has a lot of interesting information to give about how aliens are treated in Sol. Try asking him about the galactic administration, Ming, Martians and the interregnum.
Some mobiles have rather more one-track minds. Burbage, in the Droid Theatre on Venus, is dying to recite some Shakespeare to you – and he’ll keep on doing it no matter what you say to him.
That’s just a few of the mobiles you can chat to. There are many more, like Tracey on Phobos, Blythe on Magellan and Krystal on the Moon.
To talk to a mobile, type their name followed by a word or phrase you think they will respond to: for example, DIESEL HELLO. (Don’t put a quote at the start.) Hello is a very good thing to start with because the mobile’s response will often give you a hint about other things they will talk about. Most mobiles will respond to the name of the location they are in and the planet, and the word ‘job’.
