REAL LIFE NEWS: FLOAT THROUGH THE ISS WITH GOOGLE STREET VIEW
by Hazed
Google has added the International Space Station to its Street View, so you can take a tour without leaving your chair.
Astronaut Thomas Pesquet captured the panoramic images of the station’s interior during a six month tour of duty as a flight engineer. He used the various DSLR cameras that have previously been taken to the ISS to document the 15 different modules that make up the station.
The images were beamed down to the Google Maps team, who created a virtual tour by stitching the images together.
