UNLUCKY CRIMINALS OF THE WEEK: GIVEN AWAY BY THE WEATHER
by Hazed
During the week of snowfall in the UK recently, the lack of snow on the roof of a house clued police in to the existence of a cannabis farm.
Police noticed that the property in Keighley, West Yorkshire, had a clear roof – unlike all the surrounding buildings. As they approached to investigate they got another indication of unlawful activities: they noticed a strong smell of cannabis.
Inside the house they found 322 cannabis plants, some nearly 6 feet tall, in all four bedrooms and in the cellar. See the source link below for pictures of the plants.
The heating required to operate a cannabis farm was clearly more than a match for whatever insulation the house had, so the heat had kept the roof clear of snow. What a giveaway!
Nobody was home when the police raided the property, and the cops have now removed all the plants.
