PLAYERS FLOCK TO NEW BUG REPORTING SITE

Last week I told you that Alan had opened up the BitBucket Issues Tracker so that players have a place to report bugs in the game and make suggestions for new features they would like to see: http://www.ibgames.net/fednews/2018/180415/official01.html. This is much more efficient than Alan’s old system which almost guaranteed they would get lost.
Thanks to the players who have been using it to put up their issues. It’s all very useful. I have also added all the reports that were sent in over the last year or so that hadn’t been dealt with – at least, the ones that hadn’t got lost in the shuffle!
As always with bug reports, the more detail you can give, the better. The report should include your character name, and if it involves a planet then we also need the planet and system name; if it’s a company, the company name. Captures showing the bug in action are always useful and you can upload files to include with the bug report.

Even if you don’t have a bug to report or a suggestion to make, you can monitor what other people have reported by looking at the outstanding, unresolved issues here: https://bitbucket.org/alan_lenton/federation-2/issues?status=new&status=open.
Alan promises me that he is already looking through the bugs. He has resolved some (see the next story) and is looking at the others.
