Description:
Telephones allow, for the first time, non-face-to-face immediate personal communication, with immense social consequence.
Effect:
Two points of telephone exchanges are worth 1% increase in efficiency on all commodities, up to a maximum of 5%. (The effect will not be seen until the next reset.)
Duration:
Telephone exchanges can be built at technological and biological levels. They cease to have any effect at leisure level.
Command:
'BUILD PHONE'. You can remove the build with 'DEMOLISH PHONE'.
