FEDERGORIES

We had four players for tonight's Federgories game: Andrew, Angelfowl, David, and Jruff. Drizzt, Amroan, and Joe joined to watch for a bit and make random comments. Andrew put up a slithy to sweeten the pot and off we went.
Round 1 was things you find in a doctor's office, starting with S. All four players sent in a unique answer and we started the board tied at 1 point each.
Round 2 asked for doctors starting with D (see the pattern?). Andrew sent in Dr. Drew and David sent in Dr. Doolittle, while Angelfowl and Jruff missed the timer.
Round 3 was the first Federgory round. What's a command used by an Adventurer/Adventuress? All four answers were unique, leaving the scores even with Andrew and David having 4 apiece and Angelfowl and Jruff tied at 3.
Round 4 asked for any medicine, internal or external, starting with A. Aspirin was forgotten in the face of exotic drugs like Acetominophen (David and Jruff), Aleve (Andrew), and Ativan (Angelfowl).
Round 5 asked for reasons to visit the doctor starting with C. Andrew's cancer, Angelfowl's chronic pain, and Jruff's cut finger all had my sympathy, but David's callesthenics callouses made me laugh and got him a bonus point for double C's. Scores were 6 apiece for Andrew and David, 5 for Angelfowl, and 4 for Jruff.
Round 6 was another Fedegories round: name a planet starting with M. David was addicted to the bonus points and tried for Milky Way Mars, but was cancelled out by Jruff's more simple Mars. Andrew took Mykonos in the Aegean system and Angelfowl took Marina in the Russia System.
Round 7 was things (starting with any letter) a nurse might say to you. We squeeked in David's answer by allowing a nurse practitioner, leaving Andrew with "I need to get your weight", Angelfowl with "Don't worry", David's alliterative "Try taking two Tylenol tomorrow", and Jruff's amusing "How long has that been like THAT?"
Round 8 was actors whose name (first or last) started with L. Jruff sent in Jason Lee, Angelfowl showed her House addiction by suggestion Hugh Laurie, and Andrew sent Lawrence Fishburn(e).
Round 9 wanted Industrialists - any Industrialists. Angelfowl sent in her dad, Logical, and Jruff demoted Insomnius from a technocrat. David and Andrew continued to think alike with Obisean as their answers, cancelling out.
Finally, the bonus round: as many non-player Fed people as they could list in 60 seconds. Andrew just missed the deadline, but the other three players sent in answers like Ming, Weeble, and Godot.
The final scores told it all: Angelfowl snuck ahead with 19 points, Jruff squeezed into second with 14, David bumped back into third with 13, and Andrew cheerfully took fourth with 10, handing Angelfowl the slithy and bragging rights.
