REAL LIFE NEWS: HOW TO GET CAUGHT

If you're going to commit a crime to which there are going to be witnesses, it pays to cover your face somehow. Wear a ski mask, or put on clown make-up, or even a rubber mask of a US president.

It's particularly important if you have some really obvious distinguishing mark that will make it pathetically easy for even the laziest cop to identify you.

These are things that 19-year old Sean Roberts forgot earlier this month, when he broke into a home in Tampa, Florida along with his female side-kick, 28-year old Billie Kiser. The two of them threatened the householders and forced them into the bathroom, then made off with cash, prescription drugs and electronic goods.

But when the victims reported the crime to the police, and were shown photos of local criminals to see if they could identify the perp, they had no trouble at all picking him out. He was the one with a tattoo of the state of Florida on his face.
