VIDEO OF THE WEEK: INSTANT FIREWORKS

Last weekend, on November 5, it was Guy Fawkes Night in the UK, where we commemorate the failure of a plot to blow up the government by letting off lots of fireworks. These days, the fireworks are usually part of a big display organised by the local council and designed by professionals, and even in these days of austerity most areas had a display people could watch.

In Oban, Scotland, the display didn't go quite as planned. It should have lasted for 20 minutes, but instead, there was a glitch and all the fireworks went off at once, giving an extremely intense display lasting just 50 seconds.
