REAL LIFE NEWS: BETTER START BEING NICE TO EACH OTHERby HazedDo you live in Arizona? If so, then you need to start being nice when you are using the internet. That’s because the state legislature recently passed a bill that makes it illegal to be annoying online. The exact wording is: It is unlawful for any person, with intent to terrify, intimidate, threaten, harass, annoy or offend, to use any electronic or digital device and use any obscene, lewd or profane language or suggest any lewd or lascivious act, or threaten to inflict physical harm to the person or property of any person. That’s right: annoying somebody, or offending them, will be against the law as soon as the bill is signed. Well, there are many people online that annoy me but I wouldn’t want them to be prosecuted for it. I’m capable of ignoring them no matter how offensive I think they are. But then I believe in free speech, which so many people these days do not. This could be the end of the internet as we know it!
