BOOK PLUGS
by Hazed
Before I get on with the news let me tell you about two books you might be interested in, produced by friends of Fed.
Clem’s thriller Kusanagi – free on Amazon this weekend.
Clem Chambers was involved in Federation in its early days on Genie and AOL. He’s now written a number of books, including a series of financial thrillers, one of which is free on Amazon this weekend so if you have a Kindle (or have the Kindle app installed on a phone or table or on your computer) you should head over to Amazon and download it.
Kusanagi is about the priceless sword of the Japanese crown jewels that must be at the coronation of every Japanese emperor. It has been missing for centuries, but now the possibility that it has been found brings fate, ambition and greed together. The fight for this prize of such incalculable value carves a trail of destruction from Tokyo to London for all those who covet it.
Download it for free from Amazon US or Amazon UK. And if you enjoy it, buy the other books in the series: The Armageddon Trade, The Twain Maxim and The First Horseman.
Full disclosure: Clem is now my boss in real life, but I wouldn’t plug his book in the Star if I didn’t think it was a cracking good read!
Buddy’s new book Accidental Earthling
Buddy used to be on the Fed2 staff back in the early days of Fed on the internet, also playing under the name Vlad. He still pops into Fed2 DataSpace from time to time to say Hi.
In real life he is Kark Kleese, and he’s now published a book: Accidental Earthling. Marooned alone, in the middle of a hurricane, Bartemus Phlegm must try to fit in on a planet far from his own without food or money or even a way to communicate with the native people. Can he find a way home before he is found to be an Accidental Earthling?
It’s on sale from Amazon US and Amazon UK in paperback and Kindle format.
