DISASTER FAILS TO STRIKE AS THE NEW PLANET FILE CODE WORKS JUST FINE

It’s very disappointing to me as the editor of the Fed2 Star, and to my newsdroids, that we cannot report that everything went wrong last weekend when Alan put in the new code that changes the planet data files.
What kind of a story can we write when everything goes to plan? Where’s the newsworthy details of catastrophe and mayhem, of crashes and burns, of despair and horror?
The sad fact is that it all went smoothly. The new code came in on Saturday’s reset, I used a couple of my newly-minted Financiers to claim planets, and on Sunday they promoted to Founder and their star systems appeared. All went exactly as it was supposed to.
How boring!
