ROSETTA NEWS: THE CLOSEST PICTURES YET

I raved about the pictures of dull brown rocks on Mars recently and now I can enthuse about pictures of dull grey rocks. These were taken by the Rosetta spacecraft, as it passed just 3.7 miles over the surface of Comet 67P.
That closeness means the images have more detail than we have seen so far, and show us new features: rocks and boulders that measure just a few meters across.
