PICTURE OF THE WEEK: JUPITER’S SOUTH POLE

The Juno spacecraft which is currently being placed into a wide, looping orbit around Jupiter has sent back some images of the planet’s south pole, showing swirling clouds and white ovals which are thought to be storm systems.
