COLONISE BUG FIXED

Last issue I told you about a bug that a player found in the new code to auto-link second planets, which meant the movement from the link to the new planet wasn’t being added to the space map.
Alan has now fixed this bug, and all of the new planets I linked in as part of my testing have had their space maps mended. I had to set up a few more test POs to check that the bug really was gone, which meant more frantic building. Phew!
You can now access the new worlds in the following systems:
- Amazing
- Ballet
- Distraction
- Feeble
- Fire Light
This still isn’t the end of the story, because in the process of fixing this, Alan discovered that the description of the interstellar link is not being amended to tell you that there’s a new planet to the east. He’s looking at that now.
I did warn you that there might be bugs I failed to spot! This really was a very complex bit of code.
