REAL LIFE NEWS: US MILITARY DEVELOPS MICRO DRONES

The US military has developed a new drone that is so small it can fit in the palm of your hand. It’s called CICADA – Covert or Close-in Autonomous Disposable Aircraft, and it’s something like a flying mobile phone.
The micro drone has been designed to be dropped form an aircraft, or from a larger drone, and can then be programmed to glide using GPS coordinates. As a spokesman said, “We will put so many out there, it will be impossible for the enemy to pick them all up.”
The prototype costs several thousand dollars but if production is ramped up the cost could fall to as little as $250.
